On June 14, 2014, José Carlos Mariátegui’s birthday, I printed 100 numbered copies of a new Amauta, replacing Mariátegui’s original “El Problema de la Tierra” with my “El Problema de la Sub-Tierra.” They were sold in a couple Lima bookstores and “Galerías Brasil,” a small market that specializes in rock subculture. Shad Gross collaborated with graphic design skills.
